Aikido (Junior) Beginner’s Course 2018
Have you ever thought of sending your child to try a martial art? If so then this is the ideal opportunity.
This specially designed 6 week course for children aged 6 – 12.
Over the weeks they will be carefully taught how to breakfall properly and the basic body movements that are unique to Aikido. Aikido is a martial art involving a wide range of techniques that can be used to throw or immobilise an opponent and it helps the child to develop fitness, confidence, improve balance and movement. Aikido is suitable for both girls & boys, as the principles rely on correct execution of the technique rather than brute strength.
Open to both girls and boys our beginners’ courses are held in a safe, well run environment. Our instructors are British Aikido Board qualified instructors & fully insured, They also have passed DBS checks and have Safeguarding and Protecting Children Qualifications.
